About Greenbelt Youth Ambassadors

EcoSpark's Greenbelt Youth Ambassadors are high school and university students living in the Greater Golden Horseshoe (GGH). They care about the health of the local environment and the impacts humans and human activities can have on it. Youth ambassadors are interested in exploring and learning about the history of the Greenbelt and urban development in the GGH. They want to develop a comprehensive understanding of the relationships between development, agriculture, and the protection of the natural environment around them. Youth Ambassadors are also looking for opportunities to develop and practice the skills needed to become local environmental advocates.
