Fall 2017 registration is now closed. Spring 2018 registration will open in early Januray.

Changing Currents Teachers and Educators,

Those of you returning to the program this year will notice something new. After careful consideration, we are making important updates to our Changing Currents program. We are making changes to maintain a high quality experience for teachers and students, to offer this program to more schools, and to ensure the sustainability of the program. These updates include limiting the number of students participating in our facilitated river studies to 30 students, limiting the number of sessions a school can book, and applying a participation fee in order to continue delivering this local, outdoor, hands-on-science programming.

We strive to continue to keep this learning experience accessible to all students, which is why we are charging a per-student rate (to avoid penalizing small classes), continuing to acquire third-party funding (to subsidize program costs and keep costs to students/schools low), and offering a limited number of completely funded studies to schools in need (available through online application only).

Please take a look at our new cost structure below.  If you have any questions please contact changingcurrents@ecospark.ca.
